• Account data — username, email address, and password (stored securely as a hash).
• Profile data — full name, college, stream, year, bio, profile image, LinkedIn and GitHub URLs (all optional).
• Content you post — posts, stories, comments, and images you share on the platform.
• Usage data — pages visited, story views, profile views, likes, and comments made.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the LinqCampus platform.
• To display your profile and content to other users based on your privacy settings.
• To send you notifications about activity on your account.
• To verify college and company accounts.

3. Privacy Controls

You control who sees your posts through per-post privacy settings: Public, College, Circle Only, or Only Me. Stories are visible to all active users and expire after 24 hours.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your information with third parties except as required by law or to operate essential platform services (e.g., image hosting).

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at legal@linqcampus.in. Posts, comments, and stories you have published may remain in reshared or reported form.

6. Cookies

LinqCampus uses session cookies to keep you logged in and CSRF cookies to protect form submissions. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

LinqCampus is intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via on-platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
